Abstract

The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 has been designed to revamp India's education system, focusing on skill development, inclusive education, and preparing students for the evolving workforce demands. While the policy lays out ambitious goals for transforming education, its successful implementation hinges on effective coordination, management, and development of human resources. This article explores the critical role of Human Resource Management (HRM) in the implementation of NEP 2020, particularly in areas such as teacher training, professional development, workforce readiness, and industry-academia partnerships. By aligning HRM practices with the goals of NEP 2020, educational institutions can play a key role in shaping a skilled, capable, and future-ready workforce.
